Company owns large reserves of high-quality limestone in Ukraine that are mined in a unique place, namely the Verbetskii deposits in Kamianets-Podilskii Raion (disctrict) within the Khmelnytska Oblast, that has been developed since 1952 and covers an area of 13.2 hectares. The total volume of deposits of different categories is approximately 1 536 thousand tons.
The quarried and processed limestone end product can be used in the sugar industry, metallurgy, construction and in the production of slaked lime, as well as limestone powder which is used as a soil fertilizer. Quarrying of the limestone is conducted under a special permit for subsoil use and performed with the use of the company’s integral property complex that meets all norms of the current legislation of Ukraine.
- Fluxing limestone grain size 0-20 mm, 20-40 mm, 40-80 mm.
- Should be noted, the limestone offered for shipment is quarried at the Verbetskii deposits within the Khmelnytska Oblast.
- Limestone quarried from the sub-soil of the aforementioned field has the following chemical formula:
CaCO3 - 95 - 98% MgCO3 - 2,7% SiO2+solventless break down product - up to 2,75% K2O+Na2O - 0.03 - 0.05% Fe2O3+Al2O3 - 0,2 - 0.7% CaSO4 - up to 0,2%
